The 9501 system has been designed for End-Users operating an Copyguard chipcard installation. The combination of hardware and Windows based software operates with a PC and provides users with capabilities for card encoding, personalisation, definition of card operating parameters and management of the system database. Every single Copyguard Chipcard is unique. The 9501 is used to define and identify the individual users, the options available to them, and how and when their card can be used within the overall system.

Details include:– Users’ name, an ID number, together with a departmental code or name, if relevant.

– The date the card is "created" together with a "valid from date" and an "expiry date".

– The specific days and time periods when the card can be used

– How the User Spend is going to operate:

* Personal Cash Spend

* Discounted Cash Spend

* Departmental Cash Spend

* Subsidized Cash Spend

Compatible with both standard and enhanced Copyguard chipcards the package includes a "Report Manager" capable of producing either standard or customized reports and an "Archive Manager" for backing-up selected transactions.
