SmartPrint Central  

SmartPrint Central is a print release and pay station, which runs on a dedicated Windows PC, to be used in the controlled or pay-to-print environments. 

After the user sends a print job from other workstations, they can approach the release station and select the job they wish to be printed.  The PC shows the name of the job, the number of pages, and the cost of the job.  The user then submits payment through the SmartPrint Card Terminal, utilizing disposable and rechargeable cards.

SmartPrint Central software is installable on the following operating systems:

Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows NT 4.0 Workstation
Windows NT Server
Windows 2000 Professional

SmartPrint Central Software is designed to operate in conjunction with Windows NT and Novell Netware network operating systems.

The SmartPrint Central print release stations can accept print jobs from client workstations employing the following operating systems:

Windows 95
Windows 98
Windows NT 4.0 Workstation
Windows NT Server
Windows 2000 Professional
Apple Macintosh
UNIX 

SmartPrint Central is designed to work with magnetic strip disposable pre-valued, or rechargeable cards as well as Chip cards.
